WELCOME

On the right you can find some facts about what was happening the year I was born. Quite an amazing time it was. In the midst of a cold war with Russia, we began pouring our military personnel into Vietnam, while we worked furiously on our space program. Martin Luther King was battling the racial barriers, we were at the cutting edge of some of our most important medical procedures, a more eco-conscious America was emerging and Beatlemania was born!
During that very hot summer, a pair of twins were born on August 6 (I was one of them). I grew up in the Willimansett section of Chicopee until I was 5. I began kindergarten at Chapin school (now closed, sniff, sniff) between Meadow and Chicopee streets. In November of 1968 we moved to the farming and quarry town of East Longmeadow. I've been here ever since, but the quarries and most farms are gone.
